To get orders to import to NetSuite from your channel you will need to map the Payment Method of an order. You will only have to do this the first time an order comes in with a specific payment method, after that all orders with that payment method will use the mapping you set. There are two different ways to map payment methods each of which is detailed below.
Method #1:
Mapping Payment Methods Directly in an Order
(Not available for Amazon)
Mapping Payment Methods in an order directly is a quick way to set up a new mapping when you have an order come in with a payment method FarApp does not recognize. To map the payment settings in an order directly follow these steps:
(Please note that if you are mapping an Amazon order you will have to use the second method below. )
- In app.farapp.com, click the marketplace/cart name from the menu on the left.
- If you have multiple accounts, select the correct account from the drop-down on the left (under the marketplace/cart name).
- Once you've selected the correct account, select Data Flows > Orders.
- In the list of orders displayed in your Order Dashboard, Find the order that you wish to edit the payment method for by either locating it manually in the list, or by entering the ID of the order into the search bar.
- Click the Pencil and Paper icon to the right of the order. Then select Edit.
- The order details window will appear.
- Click the “Mapping” tab in the Order Details window to display the mappings.
- The payment method for the order will be displayed along with the current mapping. If you do not have a mapping set you will see "Do Not Post" (as in the screenshot above) or "Not Mapped".
- Use the dropdown list to select the NetSuite payment method you wish to map the marketplace/cart payment method to.
- If you do not see your desired NetSuite payment method then you will need to refresh your NetSuite Payment Methods as detailed in this article https://support.farapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033826654-How-to-refresh-your-NetSuite-Payment-Methods.
- Once you have made your selection click Save Changes.
- Your mapping is complete. This order, and all future orders with the same payment method, will now use the mapping you created.
Method #2:
Mapping Payment Methods in the “Payment Settings” Page
The “Payment Settings” page allows you to view and edit all of the payment mappings you have made in one place. This method is useful when you have multiple payment methods to map or when you need to change existing mappings.
- In app.farapp.com, click the marketplace/cart and account you would like to add/change payment mappings for from the menu on the left. Then select Mappings > Orders.
- The Payment mappings screen will appear. Note that you can navigate to the other mappings via the navigation tabs at the top of the screen.
- The left column contains the payment methods that have come from the marketplace/cart while the right column is the NetSuite payment method that particular marketplace/cart payment method is mapped to.
- When a new payment method comes in from the marketplace/cart it will be added to the column on the left and set to "Not Mapped" on the right.
- Click the dropdown on the right to select the NetSuite payment method you would like to map to.
- If you do not see your desired NetSuite payment method then you will need to refresh your NetSuite Payment Methods as detailed in this article https://support.farapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033826654-How-to-refresh-your-NetSuite-Payment-Methods.
- Once you have made your selection(s) click Save.
- Your mapping is complete. This order, and all future orders with the same payment method, will now use the mapping you created.
