My Order Did Not Import into NetSuite but its Status is "Order Posted, Waiting for Shipment"

The order can only show status "Order Posted, Waiting for Shipment" if it's been imported into NetSuite. You can find the order ID that should be populated in NetSuite or the NetSuite internal order ID by clicking the "Show NetSuite Transaction ID" button in the drop down in the rightmost column of the order in FarApp. If you click OK in the pop-up, it will show you the NetSuite order ID. But here are instructions for finding the order in NetSuite without using this data from FarApp:

Search using Custom Order ID Field

You can search for an order using the custom transaction body fields you created for FarApp (you can find them at the bottom of this page: https://app.farapp.com/settings#/netsuite_settings). The second field (Custom transaction body storefront order field) will contain the order ID of the order in the channel it came from (e.g. Amazon). In order to search NetSuite using this field, follow these steps:

  1. In NetSuite go to Transactions->Sales->Enter Sales Orders->Search.
  2. In the dropdown, select the custom field you created for "storefront order".
  3. In the pop-up, set the drop down to "is", type your order ID in the text field, and click "Set".
  4. Click "Submit" to search for a matching order.

Search using NetSuite Internal ID

If you have the internal ID of the order (you can find the internal order ID in the pop-up described in the first paragraph of this article), you can search using the following steps:

  1. In NetSuite, go to Transactions->Sales->Enter Sales Orders->Search.
  2. In the dropdown, select Internal ID (Number).
  3. In the pop-up, set the drop down to "equal to", type the internal ID of the order in the text field, and click "Set".
  4. Click "Submit" to search for a matching order.

Can't Find Order

If you still can't find your order in NetSuite but FarApp shows an internal ID for the order, then the order must have been deleted from NetSuite. This is known because the internal ID is a value produced by NetSuite when the order is created and FarApp would not have the internal ID unless the order had been created. In order to get the order to reimport, you will need to retry posting the order from FarApp.
