A Guide To Order Status and Filters

FarApp has several statuses that help you determine what stage in processing your order is in. Here are guides to all the statuses you can see as well as what statuses each filter in the orders page will show you.

Order Statuses

Scheduled to Post to NetSuite

This status shows whenever an order is in the queue to post to NetSuite. This occurs in 2 situations:

  1. When an order is first pulled in to FarApp and FarApp attempts to post to NetSuite
  2. When an order had an error previously and is attempting to post again with the newest batch of orders

Error Posting To NetSuite

This status appears whenever there is an error posting an order to NetSuite. If you see this status on an order hover your mouse over the order to view the error, then use the resources available to you in app.farapp.com and within this knowledge base to clear the error

Order Posted, Waiting For Shipment

This status shows when the order has successfully posted from your channel to NetSuite. FarApp will check for any fulfillments for this order every time it is scheduled to post fulfillments from NetSuite back to the proper channel. If you can't find your order in NetSuite, there is a button named "Show NetSuite Transaction ID" in the dropdown in the rightmost column of each order that will show you the NetSuite order ID.

Error Posting Fulfillment

This status appears whenever there is an error posting a fulfillment to an order. This occurs in 2 situations:

  1. A fulfillment in your 3PL failed to post to NetSuite
  2. A fulfillment in NetSuite failed to post to the channel that the order originally came from

If you see this status on an order hover your mouse over the order to view the error, then use the resources available to you in app.farapp.com and within this knowledge base to clear the error. 

Complete

This status indicates that an order has both posted from the channel to NetSuite and posted fulfillment data from NetSuite back to the channel.

Canceled

Orders with the status canceled will neither attempt to post to NetSuite nor attempt to post fulfillment data back to the channel. There are 2 situations where orders are canceled:

  1. When you click the pen-and-paper icon next to an order and click “Cancel”
  2. When an order errors from posting too many times it will automatically be canceled

  Note that you can cancel an order during any part of the posting process

Held

Held orders will not attempt to post to NetSuite. Held orders occur in 2 cases:

  1. When you click the pen-and-paper icon next to an order with status ‘Scheduled To Post to NetSuite’ or ‘Error Posting to NetSuite’ and click ‘Hold’
  2. If you account settings say to hold an order on errors and your orders have errors

Note that you cannot hold orders after they have posted to NetSuite

 

Order Filters

The order filters can be selected from the orders screen by clicking the menu icon in the blue menu bar and selecting “Filter Orders”. Here are the options and what statuses they show:

All

  • Scheduled to Post to NetSuite
  • Error Posting to NetSuite
  • Order Posted, Waiting for Shipment
  • Error Posting Fulfillment
  • Complete
  • Held
  • Canceled

Open

  • Scheduled to Post to NetSuite
  • Error Posting to NetSuite
  • Order Posted, Waiting for Shipment

Error

  • Error Posting to NetSuite
  • Error Posting Fulfillment

Complete

  • Complete

Canceled

  • Canceled

Held

  • Held
