Using the BigCommerce Dashboard

FarApp provides a dashboard for BigCommerce that allows you to view the data for your BigCommerce products. You can access the BigCommerce dashboard with this link: BigCommerce Dashboard.

Here are instructions on how to do the most common operations on the BigCommerce dashboard:

Reload an item and post it to BigCommerce:

  1. Open the left pane by clicking the “>>” button.
  2. Choose the correct account in “Current BigCommerce Account” and click Save below.
  3. In the right pane, click “Find Item” and search by SKU or internal ID.
  4. If the item doesn’t appear in the results and it’s a newly flagged item, once the flagged item has loaded into FarApp, you’ll be able to click “Update Items” which will categorize the item for BigCommerce sync and your item will show up then.
  5. Click the item in the list (any column should select it), and click “Map & Post Single Item” above. This reloads all associated items from the backend (i.e. NetSuite) including matrix children (if it’s a matrix item) or kit components (if it’s a kit). This can take a few minutes and so you can safely ignore the time out error if you get one.

View the BigCommerce posting errors for a specific item:

  1. Open the left pane by clicking the “>>” button.
  2. Choose the correct account in “Current BigCommerce Account” and click Save below.
  3. In the right pane, click “Find Item” and search by SKU or internal ID.
  4. Click the item in the list (any column should select it), and click “View Posting Errors” above.
  5. You should now be in the “BigCommerce Posting Errors” section where you can see what the issues are with your item.
